RUM.
No. 4.-ST. CROIX RUM. To 20 gallons pure spirits add:- 5 gallons St. Croix rum.
1 ounce acetic acid. 1 ! pints simple sirup. ~ ounce tincture catechu.
1 ounce butyric acid, cut in alcohol, as before. Let stand five days, after slightly coloring with sugar coloring.
