IMITATION LEMON SIRUP.

1. Lemon Sirup.-Citric acid 1 ~ ounces, sugar 6 pounds, pure soft water 4 quarts; dissolve the sugar in the water with the aid of heat, then add the acid, previously dissolved in a small quantity of water; agitate thoroughly. vVhen cool, bottle. For use, take two tablespoonsful of the sirup in a tumbler, fill with ice-water. A fine sumrner drink. Color, if desirable. 2. Lemon Sirtqj, Aromatic.- Smne as No. 1, only adding, before bottling, any armnatic tinc– ture or sirup, the flavor of which yon desire, using in the smnc inanner as the first. Color, if required.
