ORANGEADE, OR SHERBET.

1.-J uice of 4 oranges, thin peel of 1 orange, lump sugar 4 ounces, boiling water 3 pints. 2.-J uice and peel of I large orange, citric acid ~ drachm, sugar 3 ounces, boiling water a quart. Ejjervescing Orangeade, O'r Slierbet.-1. Put into a soda-water bottle k ounce to I ounce of sirup of orange-peel, 30 g~·ains of bicarbonate of potash, 8 ounces of water, and lastly, 40 grains of citric acid in crystals, and cork imme– diately. 2. Put into each bottle 2 or 3 dracluns of sugar, 2 drops of oil of orange-peel, 30 grains of bicarbonate of potash, or 25 grains of bicar– bonate of soda; water to fill the bottle, and 40 grains of citric acid as before.
