No. 21.-COGNAC BRANDY. To 20 gallons pure proof-spirits add:- 2 ounces acetic ether. 2 ounces acetic acid. 2 ~ ounces tincture kino. 5 pounds bruised raisins. 2 pints simple sirup. Color with sugar coloring; let it stand twelve days, and draw it off.

No. 22.-COGNAC BRANDY. To 20 gallons pure proof-spirits add:- 2 ounces tartaric acid.

6 pounds bruised raisins. 3 ounces tincture kino.

1 ounce acetic ether. 1 ounce acetic acid. 5 pounds loaf sugar.
