BECIPE8 "FOR TEN" GALLONS EAOS.

113, Cordial Railroad.

2 drachms of oil of peppermint. 1 do. do. wormwood. 32 drops of oil of roses. 1 drachm of oil of hyssop. Dissolve in 3 gallons of alcohol 95 per cent., then add 7 gallons of white plain syrup. (See No.7.) Color lilac. (See No.94.)

114. Cordial Raspberry.

12 lbs. of raspberries; boil the juice with Qa gallons of white plain syi'up (see No.7); add 3 gallons of alcohol 95 per cent. Filter.

115. Cordial Red "Water.

1 ounce of cloves. 1 do. cinnamon. 1 do. Jamaica pepper.

1 do. nutmegs; all ground to a coarse powder. Macerate for 8 days in 3 gallons of alcohol,95 per cent, (see No. 5); add 7 gallons of white plain syrup. (See No. 7.) Color red with cochineal. (See No.93.) Filter.

116. Cordial, Rose.

40 drops of oil of roses. 40 do. tincture of musk. 24 do. oil of orange. Dissolve in 3 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent., then add 7

gallons of white plain syi'up. (See No. 7.) Color rose with cochineal. (See No. 93.)
