1871 Oxford Night Caps a collection of receipts for making various beverages used in the university

BEER CUP. One quart of strong beer instead of cider or perry. The other ingredients the same as in Cider Cup. RED CUP. Use one pint of port wine instead of white; sometimes two glasses of red currant jelly are added. In other respects the same as Cider Cup, excepting that warm water is used to dissolve the jelly.
