2 drachms of oil of peppermint. 1 do. do. wormwood.

82 drops of ojl of roses. 1 drachm of oil of hyssop. Dissolve in 3 gallons of alcohol 95 per cent., then add 5 gallons of white plain syrup. (See No. 1.) Color lilac. (See No. 94.) , 4

114. Cordial Raspberry.

12 lbs. of raspberries; boil the juice with 6^ gallons of white plain syrup (see No.7); add 3 gallons of alcohol 95, per cent. Filter.

115. Cordial Red "Water.

1 ounce of cloves. 1 do. cinnamon. 1 do. Jamaica j^epper.

1 do. nutmegs; all ground to a coarse powder. Macerate for 8 days in 3 gallons of alcohol,95 per cent, (see No. 5); add 7 gallons of white jslain syrup. (See No. 7.) Color red mth cochineal. (See No. 93.) Fhtei-.
