A 140. Brandy Fix. (Use smnll bar glass.) 1 taLle-spoonful ofsugar. i a wine-glass ofwater. J ofa lemon. 1 "^.o. brandy. Fill a tumbler two-tbu'ds full of sbaved ice. Stir witb spoon,and dress tbe top witb fruit in season.* 141. Gin Fix. (Use small bar glass.) 1 table-spoonful ofsugar. i a wine-glass of water. 1 of a lemon. 1 Fib two-tbu-ds fuU of sbaved ice. Stir witb a spoon, and ornament the top witb fruits in season.

142. Brandy Sonr. (Use small bar glass.)

Tbe brandy sour is made witb the same ingredients as tbe brandy fix, omitting ab fruits except a smab piece of lemon,tbe juice of which must be pressed in tbe glass.

148. Gin Sonr. (Use small bar glass.)
