IlIPHOTED WHISKEY COCKTAIL.
239. Gin Daisy.
Made in the same way as Brandy Daisy, but using gin instead of brandy.
240. Rum Daisy.
Mixed with the same ingredients as Brandy Daisy, but using rum instead of brandy.
241. Improved Brandy Cocktail.
(Useordinary bar glass.)
2 dashes Boker's(or Angostm-a) Bitters. 3 do. gum sjTup. 2 do. Mai-aschino. 1 dash Absinthe. 1 small j)iece of the yeUow rind of a lemon, twisted to express the oiL 1 small Avineglass of brandy. Fill glass one-thii'd full of shaved ice, shake well, and strain into a fancy cocktail glass. The flavor is improved by moistening the edge of the cocktail glass with a piece of lemon.
242. Improved Whiskey Cocktail.
Prepared in the same manner as the Improved Brandy Cocktail, by substituting whiskey for the brandy.
