BRANDY FIX.

Use smalltumbler. One table-spoonful ofsugar; halfa wine glass of water; quarter ofa lemon; one wine glass ofbrandy. Fill the tumbler two-thirds full of ice, stir with a spoon, and ornament the top with fruits in season.

GIN FIX.

Use smalltumbler. One table-spoonful of sugar; half a wine glass of water; quarter ofa lemon ; one wine glass of gin. Fill two-thirds full of ice, stir with a spoon,and ornament the top with fruits in season.

BRANDY SOUR.

Use smalltumbler. The Brandy Sour is made with the same ingredients as the Brandy Fix, omitting all fruits, except a small piece of lemon,the juice of which must be pressed into the glass.
