BRANDY SMASH.

Use s7>iaU iumbler. , Haifa table-spoonful ofwhite sugar; one table-spoonful oftvater; one wine glass of brandy. Fill two-thirds full of shaved ice. Use several sprigs of mint, the same as in the recipe for Mint Julep. Place two small pieces of orange on top,and ornament with berries in season.

Use smalltumbler. Haifa table-spoonful ofwhite sugar; one table-spoonful ofwater; one wine glass of gin. Fill two-thirds full of chipped ice. Use two sprigs of mint,the same as in the recipe for Mint Julep. Lay two small pieces of orange on top,and ornament with berries in .
