APPLE TODDY. Use smallfumble?'.
One table-spoonful offine white sugar; one wine glass of cider brandy(Apple Jack); half of a baked apple. Fill the glass two- thirds full of boiling water, and grate a little nutmeg on top.

BRANDY TODDY. Use small tutubler.
One tea-spoonful ofsugar; half a wine glass of water; one wine glass of brandy; one small lump of ice. Stir with a spoon. For hot Brandy Toddy omit the ice, and use boiling water.

WHISKEY TODDY. Use small tumbler.
One tea-spoonful ofsugar; half a wine glass of water; one wine glass of whiskey ; one small lump of ice. Stir with a spoon.
