79 FANCY BRANDY COCKTAIL.

Use small tumbler.

This drink is made the same as the Criterion Cocktail,except that it is strained into a fancy wine glass,and a piece oflemon peel •thrown on top, and the edge of the glass moistened with lemon .and dipped in sugar.

80 WHISKEY COCKTAIL.

Use stnall tumbler.

Three dashes of plain syrup ; two or three dashes of bitters, as above; one wine glass of Bourbon or Rye whiskey, and a piece of lemon peel. Fill one-third full of fine ice,shake, and strain in a fancy white wine glass.

81 CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL.

Halfa tea-spoonful of sugar; one or two dashes of bitters ; one •piece oflemon peel. Fill tumbler one-third full of broken ice, and •£11 balance with Champagne. Use strainer.

GIN COCKTAIL.

Use small tumbler.

Three dashes of plain syrup ; two or three dashes of bitters (Bokers); one wine glass of Hollands or gin ; one or two dashes of orange Cura^oa. Squeeze lemon peel. Fill one-third full of ice, .and shake well, and strain in a glass.
