BLUE BLAZER.
Jaice of half a lemon, peel ofquarter of a leinon ; sugai and nutmeg to taste ; a sprig of verbena. Plavov ît to taste with extract of pineapple. Strain, and ice it ail welL This is a delicious beveiage, and only requires to be tasted ' to be appreciated. 195. Badminton. Peel balf of a middle-sized cucumbor, and put it into tt fiilver Clip, with four ounces of powdered suga•. a little niitraeg, and a bottle of claret. When the sugar is thor. oughiy dissolved, pour in a bottle of soda-water, and it is fit for use.

197. Blue Blazer. (Use two large sllrer-plated mugs, with handles.)
l wine-glass of Scotch whiskey. 1 do. boiling water.
Put the whiskey and the boiling water in oiie mug, ignite the liquid with tire, and while blazing mix both in- gredients bv pouring them four or five tlraes from one mug to tlie other, as represented in the eut. If well done this will have the appearance of a continued stream of Uquid lire. Sweetenwith one teaspoonful ofpulverized white sugar, and serve in a small bar tumbler, with a piece of lemou pce], The "blue blazer"
