That is better than call ing him aside conspicuously. Don't let the time be too long between drinks and pay. It may lead to disputation. Don't use a wet glass if there is a dry one back of the bar. Don't work with great hurry and confusion as though yon were not equal to the occasion. Don't make your customers nervous by unsteady and jerky movementstoward them,but place the drinks before them quietly and gracefully and don't forget to give the change to the gentleman who ordered. Don't have too many friends coming around to see you unless they do some business occasionally. They will reflect monotony from the mirror instead of giving smile for smile. Don't fail to read the newspapersand keep informed on the topics of the day. Don't fail to know your own city and State and people so that you may answer questions.
