Pousse-cafe des Familles derives its name from the fact that it is beneflcial to all ages. It is an exquisite digestive of six of "the finest" in proper proportions. The word is also given to several liqueurs which lie in stratas in the glass presenting a variagated appearance; quite a curiosity to those who have never tried it.
