2 drachms of oil of peppermint. -I do. do. wormwood. 32 drops of oil of roses. I drachm of oil of hyssop. Dissolve in 3 gallons of alcohol 95 per cent, then add 7 gallons of white plain syrup. Color lilac. 90. Cordial, Raspberry. 12 lbs. of raspberries; boil the juice with 6% gallons of white plain syrup; add 3 gallons of alcohol 95 per cent. Filter. 91. Cordial Red Water. I ounce of cloves, j do. cinnamon. I do. Jamaica pepper. I do. nutmegs; all ground to a coarse powder. Macerate for S days in 3 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent; add 7 gallons of white plain syrup. Color red with cochineal. Filter. 92. Cordial, Rose. '40 drops of oil of roses. do. tincture of musk, do. oil of orange. 40 24 Dissolve in 3 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent, then add 7 gallons of white plain syiup. Color rose with cochineal.
