182. Gerofline. V2 ounce of oil of cloves dissolved in 3 gallons of al cohol, 95 per cent; add 2% gallons of white plain syrup, and 414 gallons of water. Filter. Color yellow. 183. Gin, Domestic. 3 drachms of oil of juniper; dissolve in 514 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent; add ^S/q gallons of water and gallon of white plain syrup. 184. Gin, English. 3 drachms of oil of juniper. I drachm of oil of turpentine. Dissolve in 5^ gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent, add. 4% gallons of water. 185. Gin, Holland. 2% gallons of Holland gin.. 3% do. alcohol, 95 per cent. 3% do. - water. Mixed together. 186. Gin, London Cordial. 3 drachms of oil of juniper. I do. oil of angelica. 10 drops of oil of coriander. Dissolve in 51/4 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent, add 1/0 gallon of white plain syrup, and 414 gallons of water. Filter. 187. Ginger Beer.

10 gallons of boiling water. 10 ounces of cream of tartar. 15 do. ground ginger.
