214. WHISKEY AND BITTERS. Put a dash of Angostura bittersin a small bar glass and then throw it out, leaving onlya little moisture in the glass. Hand a decanter or bottle of whiskey to the customer,allowing him to help himself, and serve ice water on the aide.
215. WHISKEY AND GUM. Place a dash of gum syrup in a small bar glass containing a spoon, hand thecustomer the whiskey andserve ice water on the side after stirring the drink.
216. WHISKEY AND SODA OR SELTZER. , Place a piece ofice in a long thin glass, hand the customer the desired liquor, and after he has helped himselffill the glass with syphon soda or seltzer.
