MISCELLANEOUS DRINKS.

214. WHISKEY AND BITTERS. Put a dllSh of Angostur.1 bitters in a small bar glas.'l and then throw it out, leaving only a little moisture in the glass. Hand a decanter or bottle of whiskey to the cu:stomer, allowing him to help himself, and serve ice water on the side.

215. WHISKEY AND GUM. Plac~ a dash of gum symp in a small bar glass containing a spoon, hand the customer the whiskey and serve ice water on the side after stirring the drink.

216. WHISKEY AND SODA OR SELTZER. Place a piece of ice in a long thin glass, hand the customer the desired liquor, and after he has helped himself fill the glass with syphon soda or seltzer.
