Gin Daisy.

Use small bar glass. Take three or four dashes of orgeat, or gum syrup. Three dashes of Maraschino. The juice of half a small lemon. One wine-glass of Holland gin. Fill the glass one-third full of shaved ice. Stir with spoon, strain into a large cocktail glass, and fill up with seltzer or Apollinaris water. Use small bar glass. Take three dashes gum syrup. Two dashes orgeat syrup. The juice of half a small lemon. One wine-glass of Bourbon or rye whiskey. Fill glass one-third full of shaved ice. Stir with spoon, strain into a large cocktail glass, and fill up with seltzer or Apollinaris water. Whiskey Daisy.

Santa Cruz Rum Daisy.

Use small bar glass. Three or four dashes gum syrup. Two dashes Maraschino.

Juice of one-half small lemon. One wine-glass Santa Cruz rum. Fill glass one-third shaved ice. Stir thoroughly, strain in cocktail glass and serve.
