STOUT PUNCH

Boil a quart of stout with a quarter-pound

of lump sugar and a stick of cinnamon; beat four eggs to a foam and mix with a wineglassful of rum ; take the stout from the fire and add, while contin- ually stirring, to the egg mixture.
