Medford Rum Smash.

Use a large bar glass. 'A tablespoon sugar, dissolved in a little water. 2 or 3 sprigs mint, pressed to ex tract the essence. A glass fine ice. 1 wine-glass Medford ruin. Stir well; strain ; dress with fru^s in season, replacing mint leaves y ward,and serve.

Medford Bum Sour. Use a large bar glass.

i table-spoon sugar. n 3 or 4 dashes lemon juice. 1 dash of seltzer from sj'plion. 1 wine-glass Medfoi'd rum ; fill glass half full with ice ; strain and dress with fruits in season. n

Metropolitan Cocktail. Use a large bar glass.

a pony brandy. 1 " French vermouth. 3 dashes Angostura bitters. 3 " gum syrup. Fine ice ; stir well and serve in a cocktail glass.
