Whiskey may be kept directly on the ice, but brandy and other liquors require only a moderate temperature. Beer should be kept at a temperature of about 40 degrees. Bottled beer should be kept in a cool place, but not in contact with the ice; keep the bottles upright, so that sediment, if there should be an}', may settle in the bottom.
