Derby Cocktail. [This drink, arranged by E. G. De Gastcaux, of Canal and Vine Streets, Cineinnati, O., was awarded third prize in the Poi.ice Gazetti; Bartenders Con test for 1903.] Use )Ht.r))ig glass. Two dashes Pencil and Bitters. One sprig fresh mint. One jigger Gordon giti. Stir and strain into cocktail glass, sei-ee with olive. Ping Pong Cocktail. [This recipe, arranged hy James E. Bennett, of the Broken Heart Cafe, 16 South Broadway, St. Louis, AIo., won the Police Gazette Bartenders Medal for 1903.] Use mixing glass. Three dashes lemon juice. One-half jigger sloe gin. One-half jigger Creatn-Yvette. Eill glass with fine ice, mix aiid strain in cock tail glass, add cherry. (Do not get too sweet.)

Automobile Cocktail. Two dashes gum.

Two dashes of Orange Bitters. Equal proportions (one-third) of Italian Ver mouth, Scotch whiskey and Old Tom gin. Serve with a cherry, or an olive, as desired.
