Sauterne Cobbler. This is made the same as the Catawba cobbler, substituting Sauterne for Catawba wine.

Brandy Crusta. Rub a sliced lemon around the rim of a cock tail glass, and then dip the glass in pulverized white sugar, so that the sugar will adhere to the edge of the glass. Pare half a lemon so that the paring will be in one piece, and then fit the piece in the wine-glass. After which mix the following ingredients: - Use small bar glass. Three dashes gum syrup. One dash bitters.

One wine-glass brandy. Two dashes Curacoa. One dash lemon juice.

Shake up well and strain
