106 Hot Whiskey Sling. Make the same as a Cognac Sling (No. 97), substituting whiskey.

Hot Wine.

Heat a mixture of one-half water and one-half wine, either claret or white wine, until of the right temperature to serve. Pour into a large glass, pre viously warmed with hot water, and add one tablespoonful bar sugar juice of one-half lemon. Stir and sprinkle with spice. If white wine is used the addition of a little Ba- tavian arrack is recommended.
