1927 Barflies and Cocktails

Wembley Cocktail. 1/3 Scotch Whisky, 1/3 French Vermouth, 1/J Pine– apple Juice. Shake well and strain into cocktail glass. (Recipe by Charlie Forrester, Grafton Club, London. ) West lndinn Cocktnil. 1 teaspoonful of Sugar in medium-sized t umble r. 4 dashes Angoscu ra, 1 te:ispoonful of Lemon Juice, 1 glass of Gin, 1 lump of lee. Stir. and serve in same glass. Whisk y Cocktnil. 1 teaspoonful of Gomme Syrup, 3 dashes of Angostura. 1 glass of Scotch or Rye W hisky. Whisk y Crustns. As Brandy Crustas. Whisk y Sonr. Prepared the same way as Brandy Sour. Whisk y Smash . As Brandy Smash. White Lady Cocktail. t / 6 Brandy, 1/ 6 Creme de Menthe, 2/J Cointreau. Shake well and strain. Woon F izz. One glass of Gordon Gin, Juice of one Lemon, 1 tea– spoonful of Castor Sugar, two dashes of Anis Del Oso. Shake well, strain into medium-sized wine-glass and fill up with Syphon. (Note. - A favourite beverage of the late Sarah Bern– hardt.) As Brandy D aisy. Whisky Dnisy. As Brandy Flip. Whisk y F lip. Whisk y Julep. Same as Mint Julep .
