For All Good Fellows Who Will Not Drink Alone
To Our Friends
The Lord gives us our relatives; Thank God we can choose our friends.
May we kiss whom we please, And please whom we kiss.
As for the women, though we scorn and flout 'em. We may live with, but not without 'em.
Drink and the world drinks with you, Swear off and you drink alone.
May you all be hung, drawn and quartered! 'Yes — hung with diamonds, Drawn in a coach and four And quartered in the best houses in the land. 46
