Boil together 10 minutes
2 quarts water 4 cups sugar Add 4 cans grated pineapple and juice of 2 lemons.
To 1 quart of mixture add
2 cups ice water and frce?.C un ti l Ann . Chill the remainder and just beforp scn·ing, st rain into punch bowl. Add 3 quarts ginger ale, ice water or charged water. Add balls of the frozen mixture and garnish with mint leaves.

HOT SPICED CIDER
1 gallon sweet cider 1 Yz pounds brown sugar 3
sticks cinnamon (4-inch pieces)
1 tablespoon each whole allspice, and whole cloves 2 pieces whole mace Yz teaspoon salt Dash of cayenne Mix in order given and boil 15 minutes, after boiling starts. Serve hot. Dodge Hotel Washington, D. C.
