PREPARED PUNCH FOR BOTTLING.

The advantages of having real Punch bottled, and therefore ready to hand at any time, will be immediately appreciated. To accomplish this, it is necessary to prepare the nectar in the form of a concentrated essence, the addition of hot or cold water being the only necessary step to produce a delectable Punch. Below will be found recipes to this end.

134 Gallons Batavia Arrack. 3 Gallons Spirits. 3 Gallons Plain Syrup. 34 Pint Tincture of Lemon Peel. Mix all together, and it is ready for immediate use. 5 Gallons Strong Brandy. 3 Gallons Plain Syrup. 34 Pint Tincture of Lemon Peel. 34 Pint Tincture of Orange Peel. 3 Ounces Tincture of All spice. 34 Wineglass Tincture of Cloves. Mix the tinctures with the Brandy, and add the syrup.
