STIB—To stir or "spoon" a drink, or to "spoon the ice," Is to mix the drink with the bar spoon by stirring. STRAIN—To strain a drink is to fit the strainer over the mouth of the mixing glass, pouring the drink into the serving glass free of aU solids. TWIST—To serve with a piece of twisted lemon peel on top. Twist a small piece of lemon peel over the drink, then dropping the peel in. But to "twist a piece of lemon peel on top" is to extract the oil by twisting the peel over the drink, then discarding the peel.
WINEGLASS—A glass holding two ounces.
(Note: In mixing all drinks, unless otherwise indi cated, use bar glass.)
