Sangarees
ALE SANGAREE
Fill up glass with ale I teaspoonful of powdered sugar Stir gently. Grate a little nutmeg on top.
BRANDY SANGAREE
I teaspoonful of sugar 75% brandy 25% port wine Fill glass with ice, shake, and strain. Grate a little nutmeg on top and serve.
GIN SANGAREE Prepare this drink same as Brandy Sangaree,substituting gin for brandy.
PORT WINE SANGAREE
1 teaspoonful of sugar, with a little water 2 lumps of ice 100% port wine Stir with spoon, and grate a little nutmeg on top.
SHERRY WINE SANGAREE Prepare this drink same as Port Wine Sangaree, substituting sherry for port.
