AMERICAN BEAUTY In large tumbler: a teaspoon each of white Creme de Men- the and Grenadine,'the juice of one-half Orange, one-half glass each of French Vermouth and Brandy; fill with shaved Ice, stir, decorate with Fruit of season, a sprig of Mint, top with red Port Wine, serve with straws and spoon. AMERICAN ROSE In shaker: a dash of Absinthe, a teaspoon of Grenadine, one- half glass of Brandy, two slices of ripe Peach or Pear crushed in shaker with fork; shake well, strain into tumbler, fill with Champagne and serve.

AMERICANO In tumbler, or large wineglass: a piece of Ice, one glass each of Campari and Italian Vermouth ; add Lemon peel and squirt of Schweppes soda water or sy phon, stir and serve. AMMONIA & WATER In small wineglass: a teaspoon of Aromatic Spirits of Ammo nia; fill with cold water, stir and serve.
