It is necessary for the various departments and bureaus of the government to make investigation of the con– ditions which exist in the various industries which are regulated by federal bodies. When the agents of any governmental body, be it the United States, the State, the County, or the City, visit the place of your employment you should give them every assistance pos– sible in the performance of their duties. After all. the government is merely the voice of the people. As employees of the govern– ment, these agents are working for you as citizens. Thus when you assist them in the performance of their duties, you are merely doing your duty as a citizen.
