Cigars which have been allowed to become dry should never be moistened ; and those which, through excessive damp, have begun to smell musty have been spoilt irreparably and can only be thrown away. There is no remedy for a failure of this kind. But to give the care and attention which avoids such disasters is to understand the delicate nature of cigars and the immense pleasure they offer to those who treat them well.
