1 teaspoonful of sugar. ^ wine-glass of water. 1 do. gin. 1 small lump of ice.

(Use small bar glass.)

The brandy sling is made with the same ingredients as the brandy toddy,except you grate a little nutmeg on top.

137. Hot "Whiskey Sling.

(TJso small bar glass.)

1 wine-glass of whiskey. Fill tumbler one-third full with boUing water,and grate nutmeg on top.
