should be added according to the directions hereafter given, and care taken that the whole be thoroughly incorporated, so as to insure a fine, clear, transparent brandy. No. 25.-BLACKBERRY BRANDY. To 20 gallons pure spirits add:- .,.. 24 quarts blackberries. 8 gallons water. 12 pounds loaf sugar. ~ ounce unground cloves. 1 ounce unground cinnamon. Let it stand tyventy days, draw off, strain and fine if necessary. No. 26.-BLACKBERRY BRANDY. To 20 gallons pure spirits add:- 16 quarts blackberries.
