103. Cordial, G-reen Gage.

8 lbs. of ripe gages and 42 lbs. of sxigar, 4f gallons of water; boil them tender and make tbem to a pulp,skim •and take from the fire,then add: .4 ounces of currantjelly.

4 do. dates, cut in small pieces. 4 do. ounces offigs, do. do.

X -2 pint of orange juice. 3 do. sherry wine. 1 do. calf's-foot jelly. 1 ounce ofcandied lemon 1 do. cinnamon

1 do. cloves. 2 do. ginger, 1 do. nutmeg. 1 do. pimento.

All coarsely powdered; maceratefor one week (see No. 5), and add 2 gallons ofalcohol, 95 per cent.; strain, press and filter.

104. Cordial, Lemon.

2 lbs. offresh lemon peel. A do. roasted wheat bread, crusts. 1 do. cinnamon,crushed. 1 ounce ofnutmeg, do. Cut small and macerate for one week with 5^gallons of tdcohol,"95 per cent., and 54 gallons of water. Distil from off the water 5 gallons of aromatic spirit, and add to this 30 drops ofoil oflemon, and a syruji made of 24lbs. ofsugar, and 3^ gallons of water. (See No. 7.) Color, pale yellow. (See No. 91.)
