How to make Burning-Fluid. Take 8 gallons 95 per cent, alcohol, and add 2 gallons camphene, 10 grains camphor, and 10 to 15 grains nitre.

No. 541. A superior article of Cologne.

Take 1 gallon 90 per cent, alcohol, and add to it 1 ounce oil of bergamot, 1 ounce oil of orange, 2 drachms oil of cedrat, 1 drachm oil of Nevoli, and 1 drachm oil of rosemary. Mix well, and it is fit for use. No. 542. Ox-3Iarrow Pomatum. Take 2 ounces yellow wax and 12 ounces beef- marrow. Melt all together, and, when sufiiciently cool, perfume it with the essential oil of almonds. This is an excellent article.
