solids in the spirit fourteen days ;

Powdered fennel seeds, half ounce ; powdered coriander seeds, half ounce,- powdered carraway seeds, half ounce; powdered angelica seeds, half ounce ; essence of orange, half ounce ; essence of cochineal, quarter ounce ; brown sugar, five pounds ; spirits (30 U. P.), one and a half gallons. Macerate for a month, then decant or filter,
