A punch-glass half full of boiling water,

2 lumps of sugar; dissolve well; i pony of peppermint, i dash of Jamaica ginger, i pony of brandy, I dash of raspberry syrup, the peel of a little lemon, and serve.

A hot glass with 2 lumps of sugar, 3 or 4 cloves, a piece of cinnamon,
