MINERAL WATERS.

In order to make mineral water properly , it is ab– solutely n ecessary t o possess a powerful aerating and bottling machine, and the water must be, with the car– bonic acid gas and ch emicals, of the purest quality ; the corks used must also be excellent and especially pre– pared. AERATED CHALYBEATE WATER. . Contains pro-sulphat e of iron, and bicarbonat e of potassa. It is a very easy and excellent mode of introducing iron into t he blood , and is much r ecom– mended on that account, possessing equal tonic prop– erties to that of the n atural springs. CARBONATED LIME WATER. Is an aerated solut ion of bicarbonat e of lime ; the best is made from calcined Carara marble, each bottle containing eight or t en gr ains of carbonate of lime; i.t is administered to strengthen the bony structure. LITHIA WATER. Is a solution of the freshly precipitated carbonat e of lithia; this water is becoming popular, being useful in calculous complaints.
