Gin Toddy.

Use whiskey glass. One-half teaspoonful sugar, dissolved in a little water. Two lumps ice. One wine-glass Holland gin. Stir well and serve. The correct way to serve this drink is to dis solve the sugar, put spoon and ice in glass, and allow custoiner to help himself to liquor. Use small bar glass. One teaspoonful. sugar, dissolved in a little water. One wine-glass brandy. One lump ice. Stir with spoon. For Hot Brandy Toddy omit the ice and use hot water. Brandy Toddy. One teaspoonful sugar. One wine-glass rye whiskey. One lump ice. Dissolve sugar in a little water, add whiskey and ice and stir with spoon. Hot Whiskey Toddy is made by dissolving sugar in boiling water, omitting ice, and filling a glass two-thirds full of boiling water. Whiskey Toddy. Use small bar glass.
