108 Port Wine Negus.

Rub a cube of sugar on the skin of a lemon until all sides have been satu rated. Drop the sugar into a long- stemmed glass with a measure of port wine. Fill the glass with hot water; stir, and grate nutmeg on top.

109 Locomotive. Put into a large mixing glass one tablespoonful pure honey one-half measure curacoa yolk of one egg;

beat until smooth and pour over this (while stirring) enough hot claret to fill the punch glass in which it is served. Season with cinnamon.

110 Mulled Ale or Beer.
