BRANDY AND SODA. Made and served similar to Brandy and Ginger Ale, using Club soda in place of ginger ale.
ABSINTHE^AMERICAN STYLE. Fill mixing glass full fine ice.
3 dashes of gum syrCip. I pony glass of absinthe. I wine glass of water.
- Shake until the outside of the shaker^ has a frosty appearance, strain into a sour glass, give it a dash of seltzer and serve.
ABSINTHE—FRENCH STYLE. A medium size, thin glass. I pony of absinthe in the bot tom. Fill dripper with fine ice and water. Then raise it up; allow the water to drip into the glass containing the absinthe until full, and serve.
ABSINTHE—ITALIAN STYLE. Use highball glass. I lump of ice.
i pony glass anisette. I pony glap absinthe.
Take a small pitcher of ice water, pour the water slowly into the glass containing the mixture, stir and serve. 68
