white sugar, 24 oz.; lemon juice, 1 oz.; boiling water, 1}4 gal- When cool, strain and ferment with 1 oz. yeast. Bottle. 5.— Royal Pop.— To 3 gal. of water add Y 2 lb. cream tartar, % oz. ginger, 3J^ lb. white sugar, J^ dr. essence of lemon, ^ pt. yeast. The corks should be tied down.
