WINTER DRINKS

Milk. _ Put into a small tumbler a teaspoonful of icing sugar, half a wineglass of brandy, half a wineglass of Jamaica rum, and fill up with boiling milk. New York. Dissolve two tablespoonfuls of icing sugar in water, add two wineglasses ofSanta Cruz or white rum, and one wineglass of Jamaica rum; mix well together. Nuremberg. Dissolve one tablespoonful of icing sugar in a krge tumbler or a jug with boiling water : add the juice of one orange and a part of the rind pared veiy thin, one wineglass of arrack, and one wineglass ofclaret; nearly fill the tu^bler with boiling water, mix well, and strain. Orange. Put into a large tumbler the juice and rind of one orange, a tablespoonful of icing sugar, and half a pint ofboiling water; then add one wine- a wineglass of Jamaica rum, half a wineglass of brandy, and a liqueur- glass of cura9oa, noyau, or maraschino.
