Made the same way as the Improved Brandy Cocktail sub stituting Holland or Old Tom gin for the brandy.

SARATOGA COCKTAIL
Use small bar glass
Two dashes of Angostura One pony of whiskey. bitters. One pony of vermouth. One pony of brandy. Shake up well with two small lumps of ice; strain into a claret glass,and serve with a quarter of a slice of lemon.

CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL
Per glass One-half teaspoonful of su- One or two dashes of bitters. One piece of lemon peel. Fill tumbler one-third full of broken ice, and fill balance with wine. Shake well and serve. Use one bottle of champagne to every six large glasses.
