The most delicate of these fair wines with a unique and individual flavour, sometimes compared with the faint perfume of cedar wood. A beautiful, smooth wine that strikes softly on the palate. The true Chateau Margaux must not be confused with the many other wines, some of them of high classification, which are produced in the Commune of Margaux. The finest vintages are to be found among the years 1899, 1900, 1904, 1911, 1914, 1917, 1918 and 1920. Chateau Margaux was first Chateau Bottled in 1847.
